and how it came to be. i think i have made a post about this before, but here i go again because imo it’s a pretty interesting story. one day, a friend and i were lamenting about how someone needed to give the kids of clas* 1a some cuddles, they were all probably funny, we thought, because bakugou was probably one of the students who needed cuddles most. kamino probably fu*ked him up emotionally, but i didn’t ship it. i remember being very adamant about that, because ~yay internalized homophobia~. i just, wanted bakugou to find when uploading the first chapter, i almost didn’t even use the ship tag, but i figured people would read into it however they liked regardless of if it was tagged or not, and that didn’t bother me, so i ended up tagging it anyways. also added in a line about kirishima anyways, so if i leave their relationship at the end ambiguous, then people can as*ume all they want and that’s okay! i was in so de*p that i didn’t want to stop writing. so, i just kept on going. but i was new to the whole writing romance thing. it but by this point, the fic was 7 chapters long, 4 more than i had been expecting, and there was no end in sight. i needed to come up with an outline, or else the fic would just drag on forever and i was worried about quality decreasing. so i started mapping out the rest of the fic, and what conversations i wanted to happen and when, in a way that would be most satisfying. i needed to figure out what everything was building towards, what would be the ultimate moment at the heart of the fic that everyone was anticipating. and as i planned, i realized, so i did! but i still didn’t want the story to end because i’ve read enough fics that have thousands of words of build-up to a kiss, followed by an epilogue and that’s it. and that just doesn’t sit well with me, there is so much more to a relationship than a so i kept writing past the confession scene, past the kiss scene, threw in a flash-back of bakugou’s point of view, did some secret
