I recorded an episode of the Angel podcast with Jason Calcanis that was published a couple of weeks ago. So it’s likely that part of the reason that she failed is because the systems, structures and processes you put in place didn’t work well for her. The failure is as much yours as hers. Recognizing that will help you approach the conversation with compas*ion and a focus on the facts. NO SURPRISES: The person you’re firing should never be surprised.
