inspirational works of art with special stories to them. this is the kind of art that can be handed down to future generations as a family anikó designed more than 25 art exhibitions in the netherlands and hungary. she is also the curator of the upcoming exhibition “song of songs” celebrating the 700 year anniversary of the city rights of culemborg in 2018. anikó gives cultural-history lectures and workshops in english and dutch. themes are e.g. “a comparative study of visual art, literature and music through the centuries” or “jesus pictured through the centuries”. lectures and workshops can also be custom-built based on questions the group would like to discuss. interviews on stage, hosting and moderating symposiums and gatherings around art are activities anikó enjoys doing. sometimes artists need an outsider to brainstorm about their artistic process. anikó values visiting artists in their studios to discuss their work. it may help artists move forward, while it also frequently is an enriching experience for the visitor herself!. introduction to the exhibition ‘song of songs’ (6 – 9 april 2018). i just received a link to a spanish translation of one of my own blogs from 2015.
