This season Vlisco takes you on a journey through the fantastic world of wax, featuring highly intricate designs that were conceived while looking at the expert craft of batik, as well as our own Vlisco archive. 21 Finalists of the Vlisco Fashion Fund faced the joyous and creative challenge of completing the final round of the competition. Each finalist received Vlisco fabrics from which to create a collection of 5 outfits that show off their signature style in a surprising way. Wax is de*ply seeded within the heritage of many women, entangled with their lives and embraced by them as they use the fabrics to weave their own stories.
