Waterside School opened on September 12, 2001. In April 2010, the School broke ground on a new state of the art facility and opened its Waterside graduates earning admission and scholarships to leading colleges and universities Percentage of the School’s students receiving financial aid “Today we promise to work hard, be kind and respect learning.” - the commitment recited at the conclusion of the daily morning meeting. Giving back is a core belief for the School's alumni. Many volunteer at the School providing positive example to current students and Percentage of the School's operating expenses offset by tuition revenue. All families pay only as they can afford. On Tuesday night, the 4th and 5th graders helped kick off the holiday season by singing some Christmas carols at the 8th annual Harbor Point On Thursday, November 15, 2018, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders went on a field trip to Greenwich Academy where they met the renowned author, On Tuesday November 20, the Waterside community celebrated its annual Thanksgiving luncheon. Saturday, October 20 marked Waterside's favorite fall tradition: the seventh annual Run For Waterside. This year, the race was especially meaningful, as the race was held in honor of one of Waterside's beloved as*ociate board members: Jeffrey Hammond Long. During the week of June 18, Waterside School welcomed back rising juniors and seniors for an intensive College Boot Camp. On Friday, June 15, Waterside School held its most special event of the year: Stepping Up and Graduation.
