kindergarten and early childhood education information meeting. the wcs board of education honored the winners of the american education week poster contest at the december 5th board of education meeting. the poster contest is sponsored by the warren education as*ociation. wcs students and staff members recently participated in the 4th annual macomb county diversity summit at the macomb intermediate school the summit provided an opportunity for middle and high school students from around the county to develop dialogue about race relations and cultural matters that are relevant today. it also helped student leaders develop action plans regarding ways to create positive superintendent dr. robert d. livernois recently hosted a pto-booster club sharing session where every school in the district was the evening was an opportunity for parents to come together to share fundraising ideas from their schools with other parent leaders in the district. the evening was a great success with lots of good ideas shared. for more information on getting involved at your child's cousino high school celebrated military night with its football community on september 21. local veterans were honored by the football we love the dedication of our pto & booster clubs! as a way of showing the district's appreciation, superintendent of schools dr. robert d. wcs students had the opportunity to explore x-citing professional options at the career prep center middle school summer camp this week. the camp was designed for middle school students to explore clas*es offered at cpc. of individual school letters may be viewed in each school’s main office and a hard copy of the district letter may be viewed at the wcs students were honored at the festival of the arts awards ceremony on may 7 at the sterling heights senior center. students in kindergarten through 12th grade were recognized for their two and three dimensional artwork. the event was sponsored by the wcs art. wilkerson elementary student wins macomb county green schools logo contest.
