Located at the foot of the Mendip Hills in the heart of Somerset, Wells City Archers have more than 50 years of history. Since our inception in the 1960’s, we have had our home in the heart of the City and can proudly say that we are the only Archery club in Somerset with both dedicated Indoor and Outdoor facilities. Located within the boundaries of a shared sports hub, we have an indoor facility with the ability to allow 8 archers so share the line in a single ‘detail’ and a outdoor range with targets at both imperial and metric distances. Outdoor :20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80 & 100 yards, 50, 60, 70 & 90 metres With a membership of approximately 50 archers, and with an age range of pre-te*n to senior citizen and beyond, enjoying all styles of target archery, we pride ourselves on our ability to welcome both social archers and those wishing to achieve higher standards within If you are new to archery,and would like to participate in one of our Beginners courses please refer to the Courses page.
