Hi! My name is April LaShawn...you might here people call me Sas*iee. Thank you so much for having an interest to visit our web page. I am thankful for you and very grateful. I know you are wondering where Virtuous Women came from?? Just to give a little background when I was a young child my mother was unable to raise me due to illness. We were living with my aunt but due to her working schedule it was hard for her to get me from school and be at work too. She made the decision to let me go live with my grandparents in a small town called Wynne. I grew up for the most part in Wynne and came back to LR at the end of my 9th grade year. I am very thankful for my family pulling together to make sure I was not put into a foster care.  As a child I saw my mother go through so much. Bad relationships, abusive relationships, alcoholism and other things. My mother was not a bad person at all. She loved me very much. But I saw her going through these things that made it difficult for her to be there for me all the time. I vowed to do my best to help other women and their children in these situations. Virtuous Women fell in my spirit because save her from abusive relationships or make her stop drinking but because I saw what it did to her and to us as mother and daughter I can do my best to help any woman or child not go through the same path.  I also, love working with women to help uplift each other and be the strength for each other that we can be. Virtuous Women is a group where we women will be able to help each other, be a friend to one another, uplift each other, travel together, have lunch together and be supportive of each other.  Please register to receive our newsletter, information and updates
