Influence of technology on human condition - yesterday, today, tomorrow, interdisciplinary conference devoted to UX research and oriented design Modern technologies are rapidly becoming an integral element of contemporary human life. Thanks to them, we can discover and experience the world on previously impossible ways. At the same time, the popularity of new technological solutions changes many aspects of our functioning. Often, however, the creators of innovative solutions, exposing the features of their products and services that are beneficial and solve the problems in a short-term manner, do not pay attention to social transformations that will be conditioned by the long-term impact of a given solution. Our design decisions evoke changes that are planned by us and those that we are not able to predict. To sensitize the designers community to the long-term effects of their decisions and show approaches and methods that have the potential to limit future surprises and support the change management of WUD Silesia this year. To participate in the conference, we invite people as*ociated with broadly understood design: user experience designers (UX), specialists in the IT industry, an*lysts, business and creative industry representatives, scientists, researchers, representatives of public institutions and non-governmental organizations, as well as students and students who are preparing to enter WUD Silesia is an educational initiative. Our speakers are high-clas* specialists in their fields, from home and abroad. Proposed lectures and workshops are a huge dose of inspiration, they are also an impulse for reflection and development of professional competences.
