Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law Journal of Foreign Public Law and International Law ZaöRV editorial program include essays on fundamental and current issues of international law, foreign public law and comparative law as well as European law. International law is comprehended in its entirety. The magazine has published in the past repeatedly focus books on specific topics such as u.a. on international human rights protection, United Nations peacekeeping, the law of the sea and international environmental law. Inclusion in the journal also includes treatises on fundamental aspects of European Union law or other multi-level systems. Legal Theory and Legal Philosophy The comparisons of legal comparisons have a focus on the public law of the states united in the European Union, but also deal with the law of other states. Of particular interest is public law in states under international administration or in other transitional situations. There are annual reports on the international legal practice of the Federal Republic of Germany, including the corresponding man*scripts on topics of international law, European law and comparative public law. All contributions are submitted on the condition that the author does not treat the same subject in another publication. They reflect the scientific conception of the respective author. By submitting a man*script, the author offers the publishers the transfer of rights of use, including the right of public access (§ 19a UrhG).
